I'll take the risk of starting another tendentious heater thread by directing you (if you wish) to this post I made showing the cobbled together mount I made for my plat cat heater

I wish I had a propex or webasto or the like. But I don't and I use this heater on occasion during the winter. On the last trip it worked very well, and with the pop top vent cracked, and a window partially open, I got a good chimney effect that dried us, and the dogs after the sun went down.
