Scott - I have minimal mechanical knowledge - trust me - and I did an engine swap myself (with some helping hands). If you have the space to do it, some basic tools, and some helpers it is totally a job you can do yourself. I'm not saying it's simple but it can be done and if I can do it anyone can.
