Should be full bright regardless of other conditions. Bad connection for that circuit or a bad ground for the cluster.

Hey people.

Am testing new "T14" connectors I wired in so brake warning light is not connected.

I'm running a "Dynamic Oil Pressure "L" board. Oil light has always worked fine.

Looking here: http://gerry.vanagon.com/cgi-bin/wa.exe?A2=ind0808A&L=vanagon&P=R35161 this may be a clue, but if someone could confirm....

Key turned to ign. on, engine off, would an UN-connected brake light switch cause the oil light to be dim and non functioning (not flashing as usual)?

Neil.
