I myself prefer using a GL-5 oil to better protect the ring and Pinion gears. This is the expensive part. I have yet to see any sign of Syncros corroding especially with any of the synthetics. The shifting will work just fine even with the improved EP characteristics of the GL-5. I have been running Redline MT 90 for a long time now, and wonder if it is still the best or a very good choice. It sure made shifting easier when I made the switch. Is it still good enough?? thanks John |
