Since it's Fri. and someone else was asking a Google question, I'll ask another...and it has some Vanagon relevance. I have often posted pics that Vanagon Listee's want to see, using Picassa Web Albums. In the past, you posted the pics to your Picassa Web al+bums and then simply copied the link into an email to the list. Then people interested could click that link and be taken to my Picassa Web album containing the relevant information and pics. Recently, Web Albums seems to have vanished and now we get offered Google+ pics. instead. And the links do not work...My albums are still online in the Google+ site and they appear about the same, but when you highlight the web album link and copy it into a post to somewhere else, when you click that link, you get back...'link not found' check address, etc etc... Anybody find a way to link to various forums and private emails from the New, Improved,... Google + Pictures site that took away the old Picassa Web Albums? I guess it might be a ploy by Google to make everyone get aboard Google+...I hope we aren't forced to switch all our photos to some other method of sharing, or only able to share with other's who join Google+ Don Hanson |
