Just a FYI for anyone wondering.... A few weeks ago I discovered (or did I re-discover?) where the ground wire from the tailgate light switch actually grounds out. The single brown (no white stripe) attached to the switch on applicable vans*, after it disappears into the body at the hatch latch, ends up at the rear right cabin light and is attached to light (small tab) switched ground. * seems that only passenger vans have the hatch switch, not westies. Just like the sliding door switch, westies don't have it, but both switches are useful even when camping. alistair |
