Some "Anti-Sieze" lubricants can reduce the required torque by as much as 40-50%. Not accounting for the lubricity of a lubricant on the threaded fastener can make for some extremely over torqued stretched bolt and stripped thread situations. Luckily this particular fastener is very strong and can take a lot of abuse. Dennis
