Subject: Won't start--Dew Point?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8"

84 Vanagon, 1.9. I used to think the problem was temperature related, but think it is moisture/dew point. In the morning with dew on the windshield, the van won't start--starter engages and the engine just grinds. I'm thinking there must be some kind of short or current drainage that is causing this. Later in the day, the van starts fine. I've checked the grounds and they look good, checked all the electric connections, swapped AFM's, changed the coil, fuel pump is new and connections seem solid. Temp II sensor is new and connection checks. Has anybody experienced any similar type problem or suggest troubleshooting?
