No matter what brand of awning or tarpage you have, it should be restrained in any manner possible. I have learned my lesson. (Catalina 2500)

In the same instant our Catalina was launched, a Shady Boy on the Eurovan parked opposite us suffered the same fate. They both were reduced to recycle/landfill material.

The Catalina contains four telescoping square section aluminum rafters and legs, all eight pieces were bent, and a couple were even twisted in two.
