Most common is engine to transmission looseness, miss-alignment. Lower studs/nuts coming loose or even breaking. Evidence often the trans bell housing cracking where the lower studs go through. Worn torque converter busing is next. I would also check for excessive crankshaft play and lastly if there is a problem in the torque converter itself.
