Joe, thanks for sharing. The report on Samba is great, and makes me jealous for your making that trip. I have been to those places, but they all need more time. For sure, the GC is best from the bottom. I got to raft it a few years ago, and would love to do it again. However, there are still places I have not seen, so don't know if I will make it again.
