I'm quite sure the 14" Carat alloys will continue to have a decent demand. Prices have dropped recently. But it will come back up as those who insists on keeping their rigs in "original" condition elect to stay with the 14's. Vanagon's seem to be fast on the way to increase in value dramatically. They were just useful. Then they were cool. Soon they will be collectible desirable. When that happens, I'm betting your kids or grandkids who grew up in your van or Westy would be saying things like, "I really want it to look exactly as I remember it when Dad/Mom/Grand___ used to take us camping/fishing/etc. Oh and I want original wheels!"

By then most Carat/Wolfsburg alloy wheels would have been turned into a beer can or chassis for a smart communicator chassis. The few 14" alloys available won't be a $15 lump of aluminum anymore. :-)

On that note, I've got a bunch of steelies as well but tires are no good. Available of someone just wants rollers.
