Guys, there is a deal here… I can feel it in my bones..…
How to proceed…?
I need three steel rims with or without tires..either is Ok for me.
Mark will pay me $10 to take four of his rims…
Jason will give me at least 4 for free… (what a guy)
Jeff will give at least 8 or perhaps 10 for free.(even a bigger, what a guy)
I did a google map thing to figure out this trip…
Google says I can do this 9,410 Km trip to all three of your locations in 87 hours..
Marks $10 will pay for some of the gas.… figured I'd need at least 250 gallons of gas for the trip.
Ten dollars will not buy much gas eh? (sorry, my Canadian colloquialism)
Anyway.. I cannot pass up this free rim deal..
The auto wrecker here in Campbell River wants at least $20 for one rusty Vanagon rim…
So the way I figure, I got a credit for $60 more fuel..not buying his 3 rims saves me $60…. right…:-)
If I take all the rims from you guys (18) and sell them to this wrecker guy here, I got another $360 for fuel.
So, bear with me here with the math: Marks $10, the $60 I save not buying local and the big $360 killing I make selling to my local yard guy…. Sheeze… $430 I got to spend on gas.. otta buy me 107 gallons of gas…
Shoot, this isn't working out to good… eh?
Maybe I need more free rims to bring home and sell to the local wrecker guy...
Jeff, you're the closest to me… you got anymore free rims to make this dream trip a reality?
I feel like the Bunker Hunt Brothers trying to put a corner on the silver market, back in the 1970's.
Help… this has gotta work… I need three free Vanagon rims to complete my resto project on my Vanagon.
