Oh, boy! That means you'd really like to hear about my gas 2.1 to AAZ to TDI conversion and the various trials and tribulations associated with this?

Latest woe: Drive shaft [new VW] destroyed in less than a 1000 miles of driving with an incorrectly mounted AAZ, rebuilt replacement vibrates from 10 mph to 35 mph, maybe beyond but I gave up at that point. So now I get to borrow/buy a driveshaft from BenT, and if works, hooray, if not GoWesty is bringing one of theirs to SyncroFest for me so I get to get back down in the dirt doing drive shaft replacement, at least one, at syncrofest.

Can there be more fun? Can't wait to find out.

Oh, yeah, getting lousy fuel mileage on the TDI, or maybe I am. Maybe not.

Feel better about free wheels [note the mechanically correct usage] now?
