I never call Vanagons Buses.. those are mainly the 68 to 79 roundyVW Bus, and Splitties before those, but not Vanagons .

Vanagons are actually 'sports vans' ..they have the same suspension type as Mercedes cars of the 70's....pretty sporty actually. And those Benz's don't even have rack & pinion steering like Vanagons do ...which Buses of all types sure do not. Plus buses are round. Vanagons are boxy. whatever floats your boat.
