There is much one can do to a dual port, air cooled, VW boxer to increase output and remain supremely reliable or at least easily fixable. But, I must admit, there are a few real creature comforts and safety upgrades that come with a Vanagon (how did I ever live without a fridge and running water?!?!) and I have learned to love 'em. After all, they are a bus at heart and in heritage and one can work on them, a feature that always impressed me with the Volkswagen product. > > Dave B. > > On 04/12/13, Don Hanson wrote: > > Ya, but I bet if you drove a real VW bus you wouldn't go callin it a > Vanagon, woodja? > > > On Thu, Apr 11, 2013 at 1:42 PM, David Bjorkman ddbjorkman@verizon.net>wrote: > > > Hey, wait a minute.
