once upon a studio at Volkswagenwerke AG someone came up with the mash up of VAN and station wAGON. clever enough - works for me. a van body with station wagon comfort and drivability. those that went to the shop to become Westfalia conversions, round nosed or flat, are Westies period. my 'shoe box/cinder block on wheels' is very much a real Vanagon. it's Capri blue - similar to Maxwell House's product container, a metal cylinder with a plastic lid. mein Gott im Himmel ; I'm driving a coffee can ! at highway speeds it's a stahlSarg ( or eisernenSarg ). sitting still in the driveway, interior projects mean 'this old box' is the Bob Villa mobile. various projects incur varying levels of pain and frustration ,therefore, the names go to where they're inappro for this venue. that's my story and I'm stickin to it !      =(:D)            mike
