It's a hit or miss thing I think Loren. I also think its only in the later Westys as the earlier ones didn't have the "fitted" seating areas. I also like Chris idea of trying to bend the end in a 90 degree shape. So far though drilling a couple holes and then threading some heavy duty thread from a tent repair kit to anchor them has been holding up. I have two kids that ride in the back all the time if that makes any difference.
