I would say go check a few out. Sounds like you are trying to keep it phosphate free so do some searching and see what they have. I've never been to Long Beach but here in Iowa, the NAPA stores carry Lubro-Moly products and VWs G11 (vanagon) and G12++ (MkIV). I would suggest trying some local stores.
