1985 Vanagon AdventureWagen (mod) - $3800 (Prescott )http://prescott.craigslist.org/cto/3756054520.htmlThis is a 1985 Volkswagen Vanagon AdventureWagen with some modifications, most notably it is NOT A HIGH TOP. This vehicle is in good condition, but needs to be cleaned and tidied up to your specs. Also, it currently features a fiberglass top from a Westfalia with no pop up tent top. (who needs that hassle anyway) IF you buy it now, you can finish it how you want it. If you wait, the price will go up and it will feature a new canvas pop top on the roof and an additional bed up there.
The engine is the original, stock VW motor with about 90K miles on it. It will pass California smog tests if you need it to. It has an automatic transmission and air conditioning that appears to work. It has a very shiny new paint job on the exterior of a dark, silvery brown color. The interior has a bed that sleeps two adults, a sink, stove, refrig and storage cabinets. These are the original wood cabinets from the AdventureWagen conversion.
If you are interested, we can send working photos. But as we are working on it daily, the cost will go up to match the time and money we put in to this project. Email for more info. |
