Triple A has been good to me here in Birmingham. I have had numerous tows - not really tows but hauls on roll-backs - two from 60 miles away. When there have been breakdowns they always were willing to haul the van home for me - or to the garage of my choice. In my case I always opted for home except one time when I did in fact have it taken to a garage. On two occasions they balked. Once they balked was when I wanted to move a project van from home to parking storage. They refused to move it because it did not have a tag. I was going to license the thing anyway - so I went and got the tag and they came back out and moved it. The other time I had a tag but since the vehicle was a project vehicle - I didn't have it insured. It could have been sitting on blocks, for all the use it got. Even though it was mine, sitting in my yard, had a tag, it was not on their insured list and so refused it. I have my two 88 GL's insured through Triple A. Maybe that's why they are so nice to me overall, however.

John
