I like NAPA, but not everything has a lifetime warranty. In fact, I'm not sure anything does anymore. Just bought a Bosch fuel pump for my Ranger, and it's 12 mos too. This valve has a 12 mo warranty, but I'm not replacing it every two weeks. That cable clip is a real PITA. Funny, I bought a heater valve for my Ranger from them last year, and it blew after two months! The second one has gone a year so far, and I carry a spare. I can change it in 15 min with a pair of pliers for the hose clamps. Finally bought a rebuilt from NAPA - $170 - no exchange, lifetime warranty. If it breaks - take it back and get another. Hard to beat that kind of warranty. It pays to shop around for sure!
