Diesel expertise not needed. From the ad: "This van only needs an engine . . ." The van I purchased last year came out of eastern Oregon (via California) and was essentially rust free. Now that all the dust has been cleaned out and the canvas replaced, it's a great van and I'm happy with my purchase. Seems a decent price, though. 142k miles, $2900. <http://bend.craigslist.org/rvs/3765664498.html> If someone is very serious, I could take the 30 minute drive to look at it this weekend. But if someone is really very serious, they wouldn't send me to inspect the vehicle as I know close to nothing about the diesels. -- Jack "Rocket j Squirrel" Elliott 1984 Westfalia, auto trans, Bend, Ore. |
