Rao 8s are working well on my 14" steel wheeled van..I've had a lot of various crap tires on my van, either came on the van, came on free steel wheels someone gave me, some crap ones that came from Les Schwabb, supposedly rated and appropriate for Vanagons...

For a change, I went with the RAO8s that everyone says are decent tires and they are! I have Hakkas on the rear and Rao 8s on the front. Good combo. the RAOs now have about 25k miles on them and still are showing good tread. "Trailer-rated"? I don't really care...I listened to the List Wisdom.
