It worked as advertised, and you can verify the amount before entering any
credit card data (that question came up last year).

I impulse-purchased this item while I was checking out:

I hesitated on it for a while, because when I looked at it, with the red
star up in the corner, I was like "is this trying to vaguely invoke some
communist country?".  I laughed pretty hard when I realized which flag it
was a spoof on...
