Family & I lived in NorCal 20yrs. Raised the wife and a ball of boys there. Our favorite westy spot I'll expose is Hwy 299 Willow Creek area, south side is campground (~8 spaces with shared lav. (hard to find "perfect!")), north side is turn out & creek. Take gold pan and all supplies for family support. Only place in CA where nuggets jump into the pan at this time of year.

Great for a 24hr+ stay.

Keep this a secret!!!

Steve

Should I be making reservations or are there areas that some might be able to point me to for some great camping along our travels. We will be cutting back in from the coast in the Redding Area and continue on through to Salt Lake and back to MT. > > Appreciate the help. > >
