About eight years ago my wife and I were traveling the Natchez Trace in our westy. We kept seeing big groups of model Ts traveling south near us. At one stop we are able to walk over and examine some of them. They were outfitted from new as campers. You have never seen such elegance... beveled glass, oak joinery, nickel plated woodburning cookstoves, velvet bedcushions and samovars and the like. I did not know anything like that existed. There must have been thirty of them in all.

They weren't all roughing it.
