Fun stuff!   Caption says "Dr. A.A. Foster  . . . of Dallas..."  This is a man of means, and his rig is a custom built converted truck. Note the fold down bed springs that are holding the kids in.  A high end RV of its day!


Most folks pitched tents, and even in parks in the cities.  Here in Seattle camping was allowed in some city parks in that era.  Not anymore!
