Jim,
On the VolksieBus - my blue '88 Transporter - I have the following lights:
Stock running lights, turn signals, brake lights, backup lights and
flashers.
SA Grille and 4 headlights
4 foglights - front bumper mounted
1 Cibie Round Backup light - rear bumper mounted
1 Cibie Round RED Marker light - rear bumper mounted
The headlights and fogs are all relay connected.
The fogs are in separate pairs wired to separate switches through their
own buss and fused with aircraft type pop-out circuit breakers. One
pair works directly off of it's own switch, the other pair is wired
through the dimmer switch. When that fog on-off switch is 'ON" the fog
lights on that switch can be flicked on and off along with the headlight
dimmer switch operation. If a whole lot of light is needed - all
switches can be turned on and I have High and low beams plus two sets of
fogs - all at the same time - (actually, I think one set of what are
"Fogs" are actually aircraft landing lights - a narrow beam light with
little breadth to it!)
The Cibie backup light is on it's own switch in the cab. And the round
Red Marker Light is also on it's own switch
