I just experienced the influence of set upon perception. I am working in my office with a good view of two streets that run past my house. I see two low horizontal tail lights moving away from me. The vehicle is white. I can see only the area around the tail lights because of the way the blinds are. My mind immediately constructs a Vanagon around the tail lights. It turns out to be a ChemLawn truck. Jim
