I have a 90 Westy automatic, and am getting about the same mileage in "city" driving, but on the freeway, it's a different story. I would estimate that I get around 20% better mileage on long trips. I've recently learned (from here) that I should never let the gas go below half full, so I'll have to see if I actually DO get better mileage if I keep the tank above half full. As for keeping the tires inflated to the recommended pressure, I usually don't deal with that unless I can "snag" a helper to go to the gas station with me! Patti 90 Westy Automatic
