In my inline motor, 5sp tin-top van, which I try to drive at about 65mph on the highway and no faster, I see approximately 1.5 to 2 miles per gallon of extra distance when I fill with pure gasoline. I have not gone back through all my gas logs to get a statistically exact comparison when using the two different fuels, but that is about what I always see. Most non-ethanol fuel is also "premium" with a higher octane number, so that may also be a factor in the better MPG figures. Dunno for sure but at near sea level, I seem to feel slightly more power from premium no ethanol fuel...a little less accelerator pedal pressure to hold the speed to 65mph.. The pure gasoline also ages much better, I try to keep that in my infrequently run engines, like chainsaws and some of my motorbikes... Don Hanson
