As I said, I have never seen 4x4 trucks working up here on logging roads with low profile tires. Not talking about showroom. Oh and the F-150 Raptor, Ford's off road capable truck with all kinds of fancy stuff, 2 sizes offered, P265/70Rx17 and 35" LT315/70R17 The F250 XL offers both 75 and 70 series tires only. But that is when you are shopping for a commercial truck. In any case Dennis, I'll stick with with opinion that higher sidewalls offer more protection for your rims when you are driving on rough unpaved roads. alistair
