Think about this, I wish all the Mothers out there a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY, and thanks for putting up with our weakness for Vanagons and Type 2's be they 30-40 and sometimes 50 year old bottomless money pits! Yes, Moms we love you one and all! Other things to think about: Front brakes: Residual pressure valve inop Brand X front brake hoses or hose collapsed Sticking Caliper Front wheel bearing out of adjustment, causing rotor "walk" pushing caliper pistons in, causing lag in brake application on wheel opposite of pull Rear Brakes: Possible primary and secondary brake shoes switched, causing uneven braking power side to side, or both primaries on one wheel causing uneven brake drag? Possible shoes not fitted to the drums? Although almost no shops do this any more due to the danger of cutting of asbestos! (Yes some imported brakes still use asbestos, can you say China) Sticking wheel cylinder. Ok to much thinking this late Howard
