That is what I was asking - is the race there? The engine did not (as far as I know) come from an automatic bus. The trans I removed is manual - however if there were not bearing there to begin with that would amaze me because I have owned this bus for 4 years now and put about 35k miles on it. My limited knowledge tells me that would be an incredible feat without that bearing :)
