I second the MTL recommendation. I've used it in the van since 2000 and have put approximately 180k miles on it since then. The transaxle hasn't ever been opened up and has 320k total miles on it.   TJ Hannink Goldibox - 1987 Vanagon Camper, Wolfsburg Edition 1981 Bluebird Wanderlodge, FC-33SB Des Allemands, Louisiana http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wolfsburg_campers http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FC_wanderlodge ________________________________ From: Steve Cots ford <cotsford@AOL.COM> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Sent: Tuesday, May 14, 2013 3:40 PM Subject: Re: Manual Trans Gear Oil ??
