Sorry the pictures did not come out. It was of a Honda 160 horizontal gas engine powering a GM digital alternator and a Sanjen AC compressor. The unit could be used while driving or parked. It was attached to the early van with a 2"receiver hitch and the AC hoses and wiring were long enough to disconnect it and set it on the ground while camping. Quite interesting as it did not draw power off the air cooled engine already lacking HP to drive the van.

I would replace ALL the rubber hoses in any AC system that was as old as our vans. PM if you want the pictures or to talk about this set up. The guy who had this is an equipment mechanic on large cranes that's where he got the idea!
