I've had a couple of these apart long ago and I don't remember the construction details but I do remember that the thick silver contacts had taken a real beating. I'm trying to remember whether it has a wiping or snap action for the heavy contacts, can't remember. Take it to your local high school biology lab and use a stereo microscope there to get a real good view of the contacts. Yrs, David |
