Subject: temp sensor ii issues
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Hi everyone,

I've got an 83 air cooled vanagon, and recently discovered my temp sensor ii was completely corroded and not operating correctly. went to get it out and snapped the bolt head off the sensor. Super hard to reach in the spot it was so drilling/bolt extracting would be a pain. Found a sensor hole on the other side of the engine head in the same spot, philips head bolt plugging the hole. Can't for the life of me get that screw out of there to put a new temp sensor in. Dead in the water at the moment. Anyone have an issue with this before? Any ideas on how to proceed? Any advice is appreciated!
