I've been known to drop off one or two at the same shop where I buy my tires...They have a semi-trailer there that they put customer's take-offs in, probably when it gets full, they haul it away and sell em to someone who reclaims the rubber for something...Anyhow, Sundays the tire store is closed but the tire trailer sits there, open with lots and lots of dead tires in it...So, thinking I probably have given them thousands in profits anyhow, I don't feel bad about sticking one or two more in that Take-off trailer on a Sunday when nobody is around. If I got caught I'd probably do more jail time than the head of Bear-Stearns Derivitive fault swap department did for wrecking the world economy, but hey...so far we've both got away with it... A lot of low-lifes would just dump them in the ditch somewhere....at least THIS low life puts them where they belong, even if I cheat and don't pay the tire dealer twice for each tire...once when new and once again to take the tire back when I wear it out....
