I agree, much more dirty than quick. The heads I am pulling are not being re-used. I have a spare set from another motor which I cleaned up (and have no cracks). Funny thing about the exh studs. They all looked bad, some very bad, But they all came out either with a hammered on socket, or vise grips. Very unlike the other heads (the ones that I cleaned up).
