I replaced them both on my '84 and within a month they both failed, leaving me with no brake lights. The guy in the truck that nearly ran into us told me in a way only truck drivers can. Some times if the fuse is pulled and then replaced the next day they do in fact turn off. If I disconnect the switch they stay on, and if I jump the wires on the switch they stay on. I don't see any reference of this issue in the archives nor on Samba. Any ideas? Thanks, Finn Runyon in Taos NM 87 Westy Pooh 89 Westy Roo |
