Hi gang --- I assume you're all familiar with the funny hinge/spring thing that holds up the vanagon Westy poptop. I know there's a spring inside it and one side of mine appears to be dead. Does anyone know if this can be fixed and if so how??? I've already replaced assembly once with a used one from a wrecker -- lasted about 7 years. Or if anyone has a lead on a good used assembly......... So, can it be fixed or where can I find a replacement??
