I will also verify this. One Circlip and presto pull back and you are home free....The only thing that I would suggest is that you take pictures as you go along and catalog your progress. The pictures can also help as a way to compare your work as you go along.

I have not done the front suspension on a vanagon YET, but with the scirocco it was helpful.
