I have a Dual brand stereo for my Westfalia. I selected this one because the remote will turn off the radio. Unfortunately, all modern stereo's seem to have TWO power leads. According to the wiring diagram, one of these is switched (from ignition) and the other is permanently tied in. The switched is the "trigger" signal to turn on the unit while the primary power is the permanent one. Unfortunately, the permanent power draws as many amps off as it does on, so I also placed a switch in this line which then negates the remote turn-off feature. I would like to find a unit that has USB/iPhone and when it is off it is OFF except for maybe a few milliamps to keep the memory charged.
