She sounds like a keeper for sure. Please let us know what he finds with you van. It is getting a bit late in the day for any of us to help out if something is needed that we could have helped with.

Unless I missed it, you never provided much detail on the symptoms you experienced. Sometimes when the tranny seems to completely die suddenly it turns out to be a problem with one of the CV axles. Those are much easier and cheaper to fix.
