Maybe this is a good time to announce that:
I'M CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF VAN OWNERSHIP THIS YEAR!!!
And I'm 41 (going on 42).  
85 Westfalia GL, bought in 1993 with 78000 km (45k miles).  Automatic.  White with brown velour interior.  It's been to school in Halifax (twice), Alaska, San Francisco, Vancouver Island, and points in between for 20 years.  Haven't used it too much since my daughters arrived (now 3 and 4.5 years old) but we will try again this year.  We're going camping on the Father's Day weekend (june 15-16) - one week before solstice.  It will be bright here in Winnipeg from about 5am to 10pm.  Hard to get the kids to sleep.
To celebrate this milestone the van is getting a new stereo this year.  Next year new canvas!  Boston Bob arrived about 5 years ago too.  Probably only driven 5000 miles on the new motor.
