Well the honeymoon took a turn for the worst as my wife and I are stranded in bishop ca. Had been dealing w finicky engine throughout the day and finally seemed to be under control as we headed up the brutal grade out of bishop. Something have way while going 30 in 2nd. Tranny is definitely a rattling bucket of bolts. Headed to sierra vs repair. Anyone have any tips? Tranny replacement?

I prefer the surgical precision of ripping it out. The risk of cutting
yourself on the sharp metal shards adds to the fun too.

Insert a 2x4 into the stereo hole.
Hit the bracket with a hammer
Repeat.
Done.
