Jeremy ~ Check the pedal(s?) tabs where the switch(es?) line up. Sometimes those stops are missing. If that's the case you'll see a hole where the switch goes when the pedal (s - auto or manual?) are depressed. Also check the rubber bellows on top of the engine for holes or cracking.
