Hi all. I'm just about certain the answer is "yes" but could someone confirm? Does a 1979 Bay 2.0 and 1981 Vanagon 2.0 share the same parts? i.e. alternator-fan, "dual relay", "series resistor", dipstick, plastic timing scale? These came out of my '81 air cooled engine. Can't find a PN on the dual relay. For the resistor pack PN, I get hits for the late model Bays but oddly, none for the '81 air cooled Vanagon. Can't find the PN on the relay.
